Had a chance to see The New Almaden Quicksilvers vs. Oakland Colonels today with some friends from the Spanish-American War group that I belong to. It was a nice change to go somewhere and just be a spectator for once. We watch a very intense game all the while eating peanuts and cracker jacks. Unfortunately the Oakland Colonels lost eight to five, but never the less it was a great game to watch on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
